About Me
Since I was very young, I have loved to sing and perform for a crowd.
I am from Atlanta, Georgia. 2015 has been a fantastic year for my acting career. I am on the way to start what I think will be one of the most memorable parts of my childhood. I will be performing nightly on Broadway as Bruce in Matilda the Musical starting September 2015. Come out and see a show!
This summer, I got to work with some of my most favorite actors as Pugsley in The Addams Family at OnStage Atlanta, a great role and theater. In Spring 2015, I was James Henry Trotter in the Alliance Theatre's production of James and the Giant Peach. It was my first professional lead role as an actor. The music was absoultely wonderful - so jazzy and upbeat. I have had the chance to perform in the Atlanta community since I was four years old and it has been an amazing experience.
I really enjoyed my first national tour of Elf the Broadway Musical this past Christmas as Michael Hobbs. Tour life was very fun although I missed my family and pets. It was a different kind of holiday season. I enjoyed bonding with my Happy-All-The-Time family and hope to meet up with them again in new productions.
In 2014, I had my debut at the Aurora Theatre as Michael Banks in the Suzi Award Winning production of Mary Poppins. I learned that "Anything Can Happen If You Let It" and life can be "Practically Perfect" in every way. I very much enjoyed being Oliver Twist in MelloDrama's production of Oliver! the Musical at the Cumming Playhouse in which I was given the Youth Award in the 2014 Metropolitan Atlanta Theatre (MAT) Awards.
Meeting and performing with Liz Callaway and the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Holiday Pops Concert in December 2013 was a wonderful experience. It is where I first sang "There Is A Santa Claus" and perked my interest in Elf. I asked that if an audition for the role happened, I wanted to go for it. And, the tour was a new and exciting journey.
I loved being in my first production at the Alliance Theatre in Spring 2013 in Zorro the New Musical which won Best Musical in the 2013 Atlanta Theatre Fan Awards. It also allowed me to work with so many Broadway actors like Adam Jacobs (Aladdin/Lion King/Mama Mia/Les Miserables), Andrea Goss (Caberet/Once), Gabrielle McClinton (Pippin), Eliseo Roman (In The Heights/Leap of Faith), Danny Bolero (In The Heights NT), Nicholas Carriere (Lion King NT) and Logan Denninghoff (Beauty and the Beast NT) along with internationally acclaimed Flamenco dancers and musicians.
Previously, I have performed as Gavroche in Les Misérables: School Edition (14th Street Playhouse/Red Phoenix Theatre Company), a Royal Prince in the King and I (Fox Theater/Atlanta Theatre of the Stars), LeFou and Cogsworth in Beauty and the Beast (Red Phoenix Theatre Company/Act 3 Productions), Siren in Xanadu (Act 3 Productions -2012 Metropolitan Atlanta Theatre (MAT) Award for Best Musical and Best Ensemble).
I am in the 8th grade and starting school online for the first time. I enjoy taking German and along with all the academic subjects. I hope to continue my French Horn training while in NYC. I have enjoyed being on the Academic Bowl Team and learning all sorts of trivia, so I hope to pick back up on this at some point.
In addition to singing and acting, I love playing sports and French horn. Last year, I was able to continue playing football at the Atlanta Colts and basketball with Wieuca! In New York, I am just starting to explore my options. I have found a great basketball court nearby and am enjoying playing pick-up with other castmates.
I am an active member at Peachtree Road United Methodist Church where I first started singing in children's choir. I am now in the Doxology Youth Choir sharing my ministry through music and outreach every chance I get. Earlier in the summer, we took our Disney Spectacular show to Orlando where I got to perform Proud Of Your Boy from Aladdin. Along with other Atlanta youth, I was able to perform this song to highlight the Broadway career of Casey Nicholaw to him, a great opportunity through the Alliance Theatre, Broadway Dreams and the ArtsBridge Foundation.
I wants to thank God, my parents, Marsha and Bill, and sister, Brianna, for all of their encouragement, love and support.
